Industrial Textile & Fiber Waste Shredder Benefits

This machine combines robust construction, intelligent controls, and efficient performance to deliver tangible benefits to your operation.

Enhanced Durability

Tempered 45 steel shafts paired with SKD-11 cutting knives provide superior resilience against wear and heavy loads.

Improved Efficiency

Delivers approximately 300 kg/h throughput, rapidly turning waste into assets and streamlining your recycling operations.

Advanced Operator Safety

Automated overload protection and jam-reversing functions safeguard both the equipment and the operator.

Energy-Efficient Design

The direct-drive connection and high-torque reducer minimise energy loss, making it cost-effective to operate.

Minimal Downtime

Designed for easy access and maintenance, ensuring blade replacements are quick and interruptions are kept to a minimum.

Increased Waste Density

Significantly reduces the volume of waste materials, making them far easier and cheaper to handle, store, and transport.

Textile & Fiber Shredder Features

From the core shaft to the control system, every component is selected for performance and longevity.

  • High-Strength Cutting Tools
High-strength alloy steel knives deliver reliable shearing performance across textiles, nonwovens, and mixed fibre waste.
  • Direct Drive with Shock Absorption
The drive couples deeply to the main shaft and the reducer integrates a shock absorber to cushion buffering forces.
  • PLC Automation & Protection
Delta PLC control provides overload protection plus automatic reverse/forward functions for smooth, jam-free operation.
  • Hydraulic Feed Cart Control
A hydraulic ram governs feed speed with adjustable advance rates, keeping material delivery stable and responsive.

Textile & Fiber Shredder Applications

Optimised for textiles and fibres, the FibreShred is suitable for many soft, bulky materials. Share photos of your feedstock so we can confirm the best configuration.

  • Textile Waste (fabric offcuts, garments, production scraps)
  • Carpet & Rug Waste (soft carpet scraps, mixed fibres)
  • Nonwoven & Industrial Fabrics
  • PP Woven Bags & Raffia (bulk bag offcuts)
  • Ropes, Nets & Twines (depending on thickness)
  • General Soft Industrial Waste (light, bulky, compressible materials)

Application Materials

Designed for soft, bulky feedstock. The best setup depends on thickness, density, moisture, and contamination.

Best For

Fabric offcuts, garments, nonwoven rolls/scraps, fibre bales, carpet scraps, and textile production waste.

Also Works With

PP woven bags & raffia, ropes/nets/twines, and other compressible soft industrial waste (subject to thickness and cleanliness).

Not Recommended

Hard metals, glass, stones, or heavily abrasive/mineral-filled waste. Share photos/samples for confirmation.

Output Size

Final particle size is controlled by screen options and knife setup. Tell us your target size and downstream process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions to help you evaluate the right solution.

What materials can this textile & fiber shredder process?
Designed for textiles and fibres, it can also handle many soft, bulky materials such as nonwovens, ropes/nets, and PP woven bag offcuts (subject to thickness and contamination). For highly abrasive materials, ask us about blade options.
What is the typical throughput?
For textiles, typical output is around 300 kg/h depending on feed quality, moisture, and screen size. We can validate with your sample material.
How do we minimise jams and downtime?
The PLC monitors load and triggers auto reverse to clear blockages. The hydraulic ram maintains steady feed pressure to keep cutting consistent.
What about installation and training?
We provide on-site or remote commissioning support and operator training. A standard install completes within 1–2 days after site readiness.
Lead time and warranty terms?
Typical lead time is 6–8 weeks. Standard warranty is 12 months with extended coverage available. Spare parts are stocked and shipped quickly.
