Processing long, rigid pipes and profiles in conventional vertical-drop granulators requires dangerous, labor-intensive manual pre-cutting with saws on the plant floor. Rumtoo’s SWP Horizontal Crusher solves this bottleneck with an extended horizontal feed trough that accepts 4-meter to 6-meter PVC, HDPE, and PPR pipes and extruded profiles directly.
As the pipe enters the trough, the staggered V-type rotor blades draw the material inward with continuous traction, applying progressive scissor shears against heavy-duty counter knives. This continuous horizontal intake dampens motor amp spikes, prevents pipe kick-back, and delivers high-bulk-density regrind ready for direct vacuum conveying or twin-screw re-extrusion.
