Intensive Mechanical Flake-on-Flake Agitation
The friction screw washer uses a dynamically balanced high-speed rotor shaft (up to 1,400 RPM) fitted with angled, wear-resistant paddles. Rotating inside a perforated cylindrical stainless screen, the rotor forces plastic flakes into constant, violent contact with incoming wash water, screen perforations, and each other.
This high shear force strips surface glue, paper pulp, dirt, and beverage residue off the flakes, discharging dirty wash water and loosened fines through the screen while conveying clean flakes upward to the discharge chute.
