The shredder is highly versatile, capable of processing natural fibres (cotton, wool), synthetic fibres (polyester, nylon), mixed-fibre garments, denim, carpets, and industrial fabric off-cuts. We recommend a material test for highly specialised or abrasive textiles.

Yes. The output fibre size is controlled by an interchangeable screen located beneath the cutting chamber. We offer a variety of screen hole sizes to produce everything from finer fibre for insulation to coarser material for other applications.

Routine maintenance includes checking bolt tightness, lubricating bearings, and regularly inspecting the blades for wear. The SKD-11 blades are durable and can be rotated to use all four cutting edges before needing replacement, maximising their lifespan.
